Children's book “The Whale with a Big Heart”
Kit Velyke Serce (Big Heart) is a unique book for preschoolers written by Oleg Podkopaiev, a pastor, head of the Kryvyi Rih Za Simiu (Kryvyi Rih for Families) NGO, and father of two daughters. This publication captivates readers with its warm illustrations of the main character and simple but extremely sensitive text that teaches young children kindness, empathy, and the importance of helping others. The content of the book focuses on a simple but fundamental idea—the importance of good deeds and helping others. The story is about a whale who helps a seagull, and at the end, there is a clear moral conclusion. "The book ends with the words: 'That's why I became great—because I always help others.
